About Rubix OY
RUBIX OY is one of the companies in the Nordic part of the RUBIX group with 105 employees and approximately 380MNOK in turnover. RUBIX was established as Lønne in 1947, and has for over 70 years delivered solutions for electromechanical powertrain to industry, marine and offshore. At the same time, in recent years RUBIX has gained several larger industrial customers in the industrial maintenance market, contributing to increased production efficiency and cost savings through a unique concept.
Rubix
With a turnover of approximately EUR 2.5 Billion, RUBIX is Europe's largest supplier of products and service to industrial maintenance (MRO). With 650+ locations in 23 countries, RUBIX offers expertise in tailored solutions for over 8,000 customers.
RUBIX's ambition is to transform the delivery of products to the industry through Europe for our customers. This is done by our dedicated employees with a focus on our unique customer understanding and our differentiated technical expertise.
RUBIX has several major central warehouses in Europe, including in France, the Netherlands and England, which contributes to the fact that all 23 countries have wide access to products for fast delivery.
Geartech
In 2020, the RUBIX Group completed the acquisition of Geartech as part of the Group's development strategy.
Geartech is a Norwegian distributor that specializes in gear, transmission products and electric motors. They are also "BEST" distributor for Bonfiglioli in Norway.
This acquisition will further strengthen RUBIX's position in the Nordic market in electromechanical solutions.
Geartech was established in 1996. The company has 5 employees and is located close Oslo. Annual turnover is approximately NOK 30 million.
The company is now fully integrated into RUBIX AS.
Warehousing and production
Our head office and express warehouse are located in Bergen. RUBIX's main warehouse for the Nordic region is in Helsingborg Sweden. Here we have integrated production/workshop to provide complex solutions with short delivery times.

Lönne motor
Lönne motor is a European manufactured electric motor, tailored for industrial and maritime applications. Lönne motor is a robust electric motor for those of our customers who focus on quality and long service life. More than 2 million motors have so far been delivered to the market, with a large number of customer specific solution done by RUBIX’s workshop facilities in Sweden. The product range is from 0.2kW to 550kW, with voltage levels in many variants between 120V - 690V -1000V. The Lönne motor is available with various marine approvals, ABS, DNV, GL, and more, making it particularly attractive in the maritime market.
Bonfiglioli Gear
Bonfiglioli is one of the world's leading manufacturers of gears. The product range covers a wide range of products, planetary gears, industrial gears, worm gears, helical gears, parallel gears and angular gears. Bonfiglioli has 14 factories worldwide, with several of those delivering to the Nordic market located in Europe. Bonfiglioli is focused adapting the solution to the customers application, and works closely together with the Best Distributors network. Several Type Approvals for maritime applications are in place, and provides many opportunities in the maritime market. RUBIX designs special solutions together with the manufacturer, where we tailor solutions to our customers.
